Czech out my photos and writings about my time in the Czech Republic. This is in no way a comprehensive depiction of my experience here, but maybe you'll get the gist.

2.6-2.7 Český Krumlov: Fairytale Kingdom of Dreams

I should have written this post at least two weeks ago when everything was fresh on my mind, but life in Prague got in my way..Nonetheless, I’ll try to recall the experience as best I can.

On Sunday, February 6, all 90 students in my program traveled 3 hours south of Prague to take the tiny Medieval Village of Cesky Krumlov by storm. Imagine a fairy tale kingdom: thats Cesky Krumlov. Now imagine an invading army of American students: that was us. We came off season, so we were practically the only tourists wandering the picturesque cobble stone streets snapping pictures left and right. The two days we spent there were magical (with the exception of the evening of the 6th, when everyone invaded a local bar to drunkenly watch the superbowl). While there, I felt as if I was in a dream—reality and fantasy somehow merged.

I hope the photos will give you a more vivid picture of my time there than my words can.
